CDA System Properties Reference

This chapter describes all system properties of the CDA entities (main types). You can use them for exporting or importing data and reporting as covered in the entity descriptions.

Column description

The system properties tables contain several columns. Their definitions are shown below:

Column name Definition
System property This column either references a name directly (for example, system_maintype) or an object that must be specified more closely because it is a reference (see reference type).
Type

Data type:

  • Int = integer numerical values.
  • String = comprised of a set of characters that can also contain spaces and numbers.
  • Reference = means that the property must be referenced by other properties (for example, system_on_entity has to be specified by for example, system_on_entity.system_name)
Description A description of the system property.
Changeable
  • Yes = the object can be overwritten by re-importing an object
  • Empty = it is not possible to overwrite the object.
Identity This column defines how an object might be referenced. The different sets of possible references that are required to be specified together are grouped (g1, g2, and so on).
Required for creation
  • Yes = the property must be specified for creation.
  • Empty = the property is not necessary for creating an entity.
