Release Policy for Automic SaaS

Automic SaaS and Automic Automation follow slightly different release cadences. As a result, certain features described in the product documentation may not yet be available in your environment yet. This discrepancy occurs only briefly.

This topic describes Broadcom's release policy for Automic SaaS:

Release Cadence

Automic SaaS has releases with the following periodicity:

  • Major versions are released every 21 to 24 months.

  • Within a major version, every three months either a minor version or a service pack is released. This guarantees that security vulnerability fixes are delivered on a quarterly basis.

  • Hotfixes are released when necessary.

Software Version Information

The numbers in the software version information identify the corresponding major/minor version, service pack and hotfix. For example:

24.0.1+hf2

  • 24 indicates the major version

  • 0 indicates the minor version

  • 1 indicates the service pack

  • hf2 indicates the hotfix
