Oracle Application Objects
Oracle Jobs define the necessary parameters to run scripts on Oracle target systems. Oracle-specific Jobs can run independently or they can be added to a Job Group (JOBG) or to a Workflow. For details on the integration between the Automation Engine and Oracle, see AE and Databases.
Defining Oracle Jobs
An Oracle Job definition is made up of the following pages:
- Standard pages that are always available, no matter what type of object you are defining:

Responsibility Section

Key
Oracle user responsible for the job. It can consist of up to 100 characters.

App. Short Name
Short name of the application that runs on Oracle. It can consist of up to 50 characters.
