Assigning Automation Engine Privileges to a User Group

Use these instructions to grant user groups privileges that allow the users in the group to access user interface functions.

You can grant a user group privileges when you first create the user group definition in the ECC or later when you edit the user group add and remove privileges.

Steps...

1. Open the user group definition. How...

   If you are creating a new user group, the user group definition is open. Otherwise:

   1. Start at the User Groups overview tab page.
   2. Right click in the row for the user group and from the context menu that appears, select the Edit option.
2. Navigate to Automation Engine > Privileges.

   

3. Select the privileges that you want to grant and deselect the privileges that you want to remove, as you would in the Automation Engine.

4. Click the Save button above the sidebar.
