Installing LDAP Sync

LDAP Sync is a command line tool that can be used to synchronize the Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and the CA Automic One Automation Platform user objects; that is, Automation Engine (AE) users and user groups.

To Install LDAP Sync

1. Copy the Tools/Ldap.Sync folder (including all subfolders) to your preferred location.
2. Define your settings in the configuration files.

Folder Structure

The LDAP Sync folder contains the following files:

• LDAPSync.jar
• LDAPSync.xml
• client/defaults.xml
• client/client_[client number].xml: any number of client settings configuration files:
