Configuring AWI's Appearance
In a modern enterprise ecosystem, consistency in branding is essential for providing a seamless user experience. While Automic Automation is delivered with a standard Broadcom-CA Automic theme, as an administrators you have the flexibility to align the interface with your organization's corporate identity through the AWI Theming page. On this page you can customize the AWI logo and the system icon (favicon).
By customizing the AWI logo, you can transform a third-party tool into a native-feeling component of your internal software landscape, reinforcing brand ownership and professional standards.
As a critical navigational cue for users multitasking across various applications, the system icon or favicon acts as visual shorthand in browser tabs, bookmark bars, and history logs. By customizing the AWI favicon, you improve operational clarity. For administrators and operators managing multiple Automic Automation instances, a unique icon provides an instant, "at-a-glance" method to distinguish between different environments.
In on-premises installations you customize these setting either directly in AWI in Client 0 or through environment variables. In AAKE installations, you configure them through environment variables only.
This page includes the following:
