To Create a Remediation Workflow
-
To log in to Automic Automation for AIOps, open the App Launcher in the DX Operational Intelligence menu bar and select Automic Automation:
-
In he Process Assembly perspective, create the folder where you want to store the Workflow.
-
Open the folder and click Add Object in the toolbar.
-
On the Add Object dialog, select Workflow (JOBP) > AIOPS and click Add.
-
On the Object Name dialog enter the Name and the Title of the Workflow.
Important! Choose a descriptive title for the Workflow. The title will be used as metadata by the DX Operational Intelligence recommendation engine.
-
Click OK.
The Workflow editor is displayed, where you design your Workflow.
Remediation Workflow templates are pre-configured and already contain the first object, which is an embedded Workflow. The purpose of this Workflow is to parse the data provided by the alarm JSON payload into the variables that the Workflow needs for its execution.
-
Add and connect the objects that are necessary to solve the issue. You can create them from scratch or you can use the pre-configured Workflows and actions that are delivered with Automic Automation for AIOps.
-
When your Workflow is ready, execute it to check its behavior. You monitor its execution and results in the Workflow monitor.
