SAP IBP - Agent Object

The SAP IBP Agent establishes the connection between the Automation Engine and the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution on which your SAP IBP Schedule jobs run. The Agent starts the execution of these jobs and makes both their monitoring and the corresponding reporting possible.

SAP IBP Page

The SAP IBP Agent consists of an additional SAP IBP page. On this page you specify the Failure Interval which allows you to define the amount of time in minutes before failing the job due to an API failure. This parameter is set to 30 minutes by default.

Once this is done, you must authenticate the Agent, otherwise, you will not be able to start it. For more information, see Agent Authentication.
