Configuring Automic Automation Intelligence

Once your AAI has been successfully installed or upgraded, as an administrator, you are responsible for the technical implementation, configuration, and maintenance of your system and all the related components.

There are a number of optional components and features that you can install and/or configure while setting up your system. Even if they are not mandatory, you must consider them while preparing for the installation:

  • Configuration Tool

    Allows you to comfortably configure communication and database options for data calls and AAI database maintenance from a GUI interface, see Configuration Tool.

  • Reporting Server

    Installing the Reporting Server is not required for SLA management. However, installing it provides you with a host of out-of-the-box customizable reports and allows you to create your own report templates.

    Once you have installed it, you have to configure it. The configuration page also provides tips for Windows and Linux. For more information, see Configuring and Managing the Reporting Server.
