Running the CALC_AVE_RUN Job

The CALC_AVE_RUN job creates a report of average, last, or maximum task runs and optionally populates the Ave run time field for jobs and process flow components.

The CALC_AVE_RUN job serves two purposes for jobs in one or more applications. It:

Prompt Description

Applications

A multi-select prompt where you select which applications' task run times you wish to calculate.

Ave Run Time Calc Method

A list of values prompt with three options:

  • AVG: Average value
  • LAST: Last value
  • MAX: Maximum value

Maximum number of days of history

The number of days you wish to use in the calculation.

Minimum number of runs

The number of runs you wish to use in the calculation.

Commit new Ave run times

Y or N to determine whether you wish to populate the Average Run Time field for the job with the value from this report.
