Group Object (JOBG)

You can use groups when you need to execute tasks only occasionally or when you execute task in parallel. Assign the "Group" start type to tasks you want to run within a group. Groups can be activated manually, by a workflow (JOBP) or by a schedule object (JSCH).

Object Definition

Object class: Executable object

Object type/Short name: JOBG

If a task within a group is activated by a workflow, a schedule object , or was specified as a recurring task, the group remains inactive.
