CLIENT Queue

The CLIENT queue is available by default in each client.

Each client includes a special kind of Queue object, namely the CLIENT_QUEUE. It is automatically created with a client and is available in <No Folder> in the Process Assembly perspective. By default, the Client Queue is stopped as soon as it has been created.

When no specific Queue is assigned to an executable object when defining it, the CLIENT Queue is used to process it. Compared to regular Queue objects, the CLIENT_QUEUE has some limitations:

• It is not possible to limit the number of maximum slots.
• It cannot be renamed or deleted.
• The Transport and Import/Export are not available.
• It cannot be copied.
• It has no queue exceptions.

These are the only settings you can change in a CLIENT Queue:

• Priority (default value: 200)
• Object execution: Start/Stop (default value: STOP)
