Setting the Report Parameters in Objects

The Automation Engine provides comprehensive standard reports. For Job objects two additional possibilities are available, extended and external output reports. This topic explains the settings you must configure to generate and access them.

Extended Report Settings

• System administrators determine whether extended reports should be created and, if so, which ones, in the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS - Various Client Settings system variable. This setting applies Client-wide.
• Object designers define specify different settings for individual objects in the Extended Reports section on the General Page. These settings overrule the definitions in the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS variable

External Report Settings

There are two possibilities to register external reports:

• Using the :REGISTER_OUTPUTFILE script element.
