Automation Engine JCL for Applications

The Automation Engine lets you execute processing statements in several target systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Applications and Siebel. One way of defining those commands is by using the Forms in the Process pages of Jobs for these systems. Another way is to write scripts with dedicated script elements that the Automation Engine scripting language provides.

You can write Job Control Language (JCL) lines directly in your scripts on the Process pages of Jobs. You can also explicitly declare lines in your scripts as data lines that contain JCL commands.
