This document lists and describes the start parameters of the agents of the Automation Engine.

BS2000 Agent
Start parameter: -IFile name
Description: Name of the INI File. INI files are assigned with /FILE...,LINK=INI.

Java Agents (JMX, SAP (Windows and UNIX), Rapid Automation, Database)
Start parameter: -IFile name
Description: Name of the INI File.

PS Agent
Start parameter: -Xmx1G
Description: Increases the memory of the Java Virtual Machine.

UNIX Agents
Start parameter: File name
Description: Name of the INI File. The name of the INI file is specified without -I.
Start parameter: -v
Description: Prints the version of the Automation Engine and hotfix number.
Format: Agent file name version Automation Engine version plus hotfix number

VMS Agent
Start parameter: /INIFile name
Description: Name of the INI File.

Windows Agents
Start parameter: -IFile name
Description: Name of the INI File.
Start parameter: -V
Description: Prints the version of the Automation Engine and hotfix number.
Format: Agent file name version Automation Engine version plus hotfix number
