Analyzing Reports with Automic Automation's Gen AI
Depending on the complexity of your processes, your reports can be very long. Finding relevant information on failed tasks, performing root-cause analysis and deciding on mitigating actions can be cumbersome. Automic Automation's Gen AI capabilities summarize the content of the reports, analyze it and provide useful suggestions if the report pinpoints errors and failed executions. The Automation AI Assistant responds in natural language. You can ask it to provide the answers in any format that you need (json, markup language, etc.) and you can have follow-up conversations with it in any language, not just in the language of your interface.
To Analyze a Report or Part of a Report with Automic Automation's Gen AI
-
Open the report and right-click anywhere in the report window to select the Analyze Report or use the button in the toolbar.
-
The Automation AI Assistant pane that opens on the right hand-side contains the summary and an analysis of the report. The structure is always the same:
-
It summarizes the content breaking it down into smaller units.
-
If there are errors, it lists and describes them in detail.
-
It suggests what areas need further investigation.
-
It describes the potential causes that led to the errors.
-
It recommends how to solve the errors.
-
-
If necessary, type any question in the Ask Automation AI Assistant field at the bottom of the pane to start a conversation. The more precise that you word your question, the better the answer will be. You can ask your questions in any language.
-
To clear or exit the chat, click on the three dots to the right of the chat box and select the option you need.
To Analyze an Execution mentioned in a Report
Everywhere in AWI where there is a runID you can call the Automation AI Assistant to trigger the summary and analysis of that particular execution and start a conversation with Automic Automation's Gen AI. This applies to the reports too. If a report mentions a runID in its content, you can right-click the runID and select Analyze Execution. For more information, see Analyzing Executions with Automic Automation's Gen AI.
