This document displays the list of Management Units (MU) known to the current Dollar Universe Node. A Management Unit represents the logical environment for executing a task.
In order to create Management Units, an administrator must:
Ensure that the MU Node of residence has been declared in the Node list (1) (refer to sections: "V5 Nodes" and "Nodes List).
Update the Management Unit list by inserting all referenced MUs.
Establish the dependencies existing between the various Management Units.
Distribute the Nodes, MU and MU dependencies to the remote network Nodes (2).
(1)&(2) These two points are valid for DUAS V5 only. For DUAS V6 nodes, these operations are supported:
(1) by UVMS nodes synchronization
(2) by Task deployment
Actions:
New, Display, Update, Duplicate
Opens an MU declaration window. Refer to section "MU Details": In display mode, no changes can be made. In update mode, all characteristics can be modified except the name. In duplicate mode (v6 nodes only), the name and the label can be changed.
Send to
Deploys selected objects from a DUAS V6 node to a target: Package, node, Area or Management Unit. Refer to section "V6 Deployment Details".
