General

Name: the Session code

Label: the Session's description

Version: The version number of the Session. In the Production Area the only possible version number is "000".

Tree

The following actions can be used to build the Session tree:

Add>Insert header: This is the first thing you need to do. A header Uproc is mandatory to create a Session.

Add>Insert: Select a Uproc in the Session first; the Uproc’s borders change color. Right click or choose from the toolbar one of the following options:

Uproc selection: Left click on a Uproc icon to select the Uproc in question. To select the Uprocs in a branch, left click on the expander arrow to the left of the branch and all the Uprocs in the branch to the right of the expander button will be selected.

Cut: To remove selected Uprocs from the tree and copy them to the clipboard.

Copy: To copy selected Uprocs to the clipboard.

Paste: To paste a Uproc or Session branch from the clipboard to the Session, select one of the options below from the toolbar or popup menu:

Delete: To remove selected Uprocs from the tree.

Update Uproc: Select a single Uproc then click Update to open the Uproc definition window. Refer to section: "Uprocs".

Execution Context: Brings up the Choose a Uproc and an Execution Context window.

Undo: To cancel the previous action.

Redo: To repeat the previously canceled action.

Zoom: Can be useful for an overall View of a long Session. ([CTRL] mouse wheel also manages the zoom).

Move: A Uproc can be moved across the Session. Select the Uproc to be moved and then click on one of the following items:

A branch can be moved only in relation to another branch of the same type at the same level. A grayed-out option means that it is not available: you must remove the branch and recreate it.

Choose a Uproc and an Execution Context

Uproc: Enter the Uproc name or click the button to select one from the list. You can enter a filter (A*) to filter the Uprocs list.

MU: The goal is to specify on which Management Unit the Uproc must execute irrespective of the MU specified in the Task.

The dependencies between the Management Units are set when defining the Management Unit. Refer to section "Dependencies".

Return Code: Enter the return code of the parent Uproc to launch the selected Uproc. You can enter an expression of the same type than the one use to define the Uproc Extended return code described in the section "Status Management Rules".
