Functional Data

Force run at the end of launch window: If this box is checked, the launch corresponding to an occurrence of the Task being defined will be forced at the end of the launch window regardless of the condition defined in the Uproc. Extreme precaution should be taken when setting this flag, since a launch will occur even if incompatibility conditions are not satisfied.

Automatic restart after system crash (DUAS V5): If this box is checked, the job will be automatically restarted in the event of computer failure (and in this case only). This option is only taken into account on UNIX and Windows if Dollar Universe is linked with DQM.

Defining recovery points in the process might be useful. This can be done by using the step concept, available either at the operating system level or at the Uproc level.

Central monitoring (DUAS V5): If this box is checked, the start and end job status will be sent to the Node that has been declared as the central monitoring Node.

Job Run History: If the box is checked, executions of Uprocs in the Task will be recorded in the Job Run History (default behavior). If cleared, no data will be recorded in the history file.

Offset processing date: This line is not displayed for Uprocs without a functional period or for cyclic tasks (in the latter case, the processing date is formatted from the schedule date, depending on the Uproc functional period)

By default, the Task’s processing date will be equal to the scheduled date. In cases where the job runs on day D but processes data for day D-1 or for period Month -1, the processing date can be automatically shifted to reflect this situation.

The offset comprises a direction (+ or -) and a number of days (working or calendar) or functional periods. The functional period offset is only available for Uprocs whose functional period is greater than “day”.

Example

For a Uproc with a functional period of month, the offset can be expressed in days and in months: +1 Calendar day(s) and +0 month(s)

For a Uproc with a functional period of a week, the offset can be expressed in days and weeks: -1 calendar day(s) and +1 week(s)

An offset of the processing date can also be defined for Task if the user defines an offset on the rules in the Schedule. Refer to the paragraph Add > Offset Rule".

Some default values of the displayed information can be modified. Refer to section "Task Default Settings".
