User preferences are saved individually for each user connected to the interface in the directory:
On Windows:

On Linux:

To update a parameter: Select the line and click Update or double-click the value. In the list, select the new value or enter it. Click Save.
To restore the settings’ default values set at installation and erase all updates made by the user, click Restore defaults.
Application Language
This defines the interface language. English (en) and French (fr) are currently available.
Date Format , Time Format
The user can change the display format of date and time throughout the interface.
Reference Time
DUAS only. The user can choose one of two displaying modes for the Job Runs. The value for the reference time can be set to MU Time or Dollar Universe Reference Time. If MU Time is selected (DU only), times displayed in monitoring documents will be offset by the values defined in the MU table. Refer to the section "Timezone".
The time selection function determines only whether Server time or MU time will be displayed on the Job Runs document. In all cases, if offsets are set in the MU, they will be used by the calculator.
First Day of Week
Select the first day of the week used to calculate the scheduling dates.
Alerting Dashboard
Open Alert Dashboard on startup
Enter Yes to display the Dashboard when the user connects to UVC.
These preferences apply to the server’s monitoring dashboard, accessible in the Administration mode, Monitoring and Audit section > UVMS Server Monitoring.
Recording Window
This setting can assume the following values: 1 day, 2 days or 1 week. This is the amount of time during which records are kept. Further, they are deleted when the Univiewer Console is shut down.
Refresh Rate
This setting can assume the following values: 15 or 30 seconds, 1 or 2 minutes. It shows the data’s refresh cycle.
Chart Display Window
This setting can assume the following values: 10, 30, 60 minutes or 2 hours. It shows the amount of time the data is displayed. Data saved but not displayed can be extracted and saved to the CSV format.

Default Text Editor
The default text editor can be altered. Installation values are:
The substitution token !FILE ! is necessary to pass the name of the file to be edited.
Example
To change the text editor to Notepad++ on Windows enter:

Enable Breadcrumb
Set to Yes (by default) to display the breadcrumbs. You can set it to No to hide the breadcrumbs.
Job Monitoring
Job Run Default Time Filter > Day Filter Value
You can change the default filter applied in the UniJob Job Runs document to restrict the amount of data presented to the user and avoid overloading the monitoring document.
This value defines the Start date in the Job Runs document. The filter is applied when the document is opened.
The default value is 1 day. To modify the default filter select the line and click Update or double click on the value. Enter the new value and click Save.
Click Restore Defaults to restore Univiewer default values.
Job Run Default Status Filter
Displays the default Job statuses selected in the Job Runs document filter.
Status Order
Displays the status order to calculate the status of the consolidated lines in the Job Runs document.
To change this order, select a line, right-click and chose the Priority Up or Priority Down option to move the status up or down.
Deactivate value helps auto-completion
No by default. When you enter the first letter(s) of an object name in a selection field and then click the arrow next to the field, the list displayed is automatically filtered. But if the list contains many objects, it may take some time to display it. In that case, set this preference to Yes to disable the auto-completion feature. Refer to section "Value Helps".
Ask confirmation when number of nodes exceeds
Enter the number of nodes beyond which the interface will ask for confirmation before displaying the data concerned. 25 by default.
Show monitoring Context Chooser
Yes by default. Displays the context selection in Monitoring mode. Displays the selection tool above Monitoring mode, (as in Design mode) in order to open documents in production in a predefined environment.

Job Runs Colors
This list displays all the possible Job Run status names (on UniJob Nodes and Dollar Universe Nodes) and their associated color.
Jobs
This list displays the possible UniJob Job status names and their associated colors.
Job Events
This list displays the Dollar Universe event status names and their associated colors.
Day Type
This list displays the names of days in the Calendars or in the Patterns used to schedule Jobs.

This list displays the Dollar Universe trigger status names and their associated colors:

Date condition
Conditions can use processing dates; possible values are “Same”, “Specific” or “Offset”.
Functional period
Governs the calculation of the Processing Date; possible values are “none”, “day”, “10 days”, “2 weeks”, “month”,” 2 months”, “3 months”, “4 months”, ”6 months” and “year”.
Memorization
Determines how many events are retained; possible values are “One”, “None” or “All”.
Management Unit condition
Uses Management Units; possible values are “Same Mgt Unit”, “Specific Mgt Unit”, “Mgt Unit Type” or an HDP expression.
Session condition
Uses Sessions; possible values are “Any”, “Same Session”, “Same Session and Execution” or a “Specific Session”.
This sets default values concerning the creation of Tasks. Refer to section: "Tasks".
Task Active
Determines whether Tasks are created active; possible values are Yes or No.
Forced Run
Determines whether Tasks should be forced to run if prerequisite conditions are not satisfied at the end of the launch window; possible values are Yes or No.
Central Monitoring
(DUAS V5 only) If yes, job status will be sent to the central monitoring Node; possible values Yes or No (only used for mono-Node job monitors).
Automatic Restart
(DUAS V5 only) Determines if jobs will be automatically resubmitted after a crash; possible values Yes or No.
Task Priority
Sets submission priority in a batch queue; possible values are 1 – 255.
Launch From
Sets the default launch time and duration.
Task Nature
Determines whether Tasks are created as templates or not.
Task Type
Determines the default Task type. Possible values are: Cyclical, Scheduled, Provoked or Watching.
This sets default values concerning the creation of Calendars. Refer to section: "Calendars".
From Monday to Sunday, possible values are Working, Closed or Holiday.

Period duration
The number of units of the scheduling period.
Period duration unit
The units used to calculate the length of the period; possible values are day, week or month.

The number of days from the start of the period.
Offset to
The offset direction.
This sets default values concerning the creation of resources. Refer to section: "Resources".
Quota 1, Quota 2
The default number of units attributed to Quota 1 / Quota 2 of a logical resource.
Scan cycle (seconds)
The Supervisor engine’s default scan cycle.
Access
Determines whether default access to resources is shared or exclusive.
De-allocation
Resources can be de-allocated automatically at the end of the Uproc that consumes them or they can be de-allocated by command at a later moment.
