For Dollar Universe V5, this document displays the list of all the tasks.
For Dollar Universe V6, this document displays two lists of tasks:
Main tasks
This list contains all the scheduled tasks, watcher, cyclical and the provoked tasks where the Uproc is the Session header.
Specific tasks
This list contains specific provoked tasks (in which the Uproc is not the Session header) or optional tasks which are associated to a main task.
Actions:
New, Display, Update, Duplicate
For the list of Main tasks, opens a task declaration window. Refer to section: "Task Details". All fields are open for modification. To create a specific task, refer to the section "Specific Task". In display mode, no changes can be made. In update mode, all characteristics can be modified except the name and (MU / Session / Uproc).
Workload Forecast
Select a line from the list of main tasks and click Workload Forecast to calculate the workload forecast for this task. Refer to section: "Workload Forecast".
Free
(DUAS V5 only) unlocks a previously locked task during an update. A message displays the result of the action.
Enable / Disable
The Status flag is dynamically set to "Enabled" for an active task or to "Disabled" for a disabled task. This action is only taken into account if the calculator is started.
Display Main Task
Select a task from the list of specific Tasks and click Display main Task to open the main task document to which this specific Task is associated. Refer to the section: "Task Details".
Attach to Main Task
Select a specific task and click on this action to modify the task connected to the specific task. The new task must be on the same session, same MU as the initial principal task and must be of the same nature (template and non-template). This option also serves to connect tasks (optional or provoked) issued from DUAS V5 that do not have this explicit link.
Reassign Rules
Will reassign local rules to selected local Tasks. To do so, select the Task(s) you need to reassign the rule to and click Assign.
Warning! When a rule is assigned to a Task, any rule of the same name inside the selected Task will be overwritten. No undo is available.
The Calculator for the Area concerned must be running to recalculate the modified Tasks. If the Calculator is stopped, the recalculation will take place the next time it starts.
The update of the Task affects only future launches, not launches with a launch window previous to the date and time of the action.
Send to
Deploys selected objects from a DUAS V6 node to a target: Package, node, Area or Management Unit. Refer to section "V6 Deployment Details".
Tools > Import Wizard
Runs a wizard that helps the user to import external jobs to Dollar Universe V6, on the selected node.
The Import Wizard welcome screen allows the user to select the type of jobs he wants to import:
Before starting the import, the user must select from the drop-down option which Area of Dollar Universe the jobs will be imported onto.
Monitoring
First select a task from the list of Main tasks. The "Job Runs" list will be displayed filtered by Session name (if any) or by Uproc name (if the task has no Session) and with the MU name. The list is grouped by Session execution number.
Columns: Information displayed is customizable. Right click on the column headers to select which columns to display:
Task Name
(V6 only) indicates the name of the task.

Activation
(V6 only) possible values are:
Multiple launches
"Yes" if the task is scheduled to run several times a day
Launch date
Start of the next launch window (for active tasks).
Launch deadline

If, for an active task, these dates and times are not displayed, check the Calculator status. Dates and times are set to 000000 0000 while the task is being updated. They are set to 31122049 2359 when the task’s next launch is impossible.
Processing date
Indicates the processing date associated with the next execution of the task. If the header Uproc has no functional period (or if the task is disabled or a template), this information will not be available.
