Technical Data

Submission account: Submission Account. This field is required. The name must have been defined in the Dollar Universe submission account table and be authorized for the considered Area. Enter the user account or click on the button to display existing users. A default value may be defined.

Printer: Not available on Windows or UNIX, defines the output printer for the Task execution. The printer code is the four character logical name of the dedicated print queue.

Batch queue: Batch queue to which the Task will be submitted. Enter the batch queue or click on the button to select it from a list. The queue must exist on the considered Node. It can be either a generic or a physical queue. This name may be replaced by the variable string “!MU!” (Management Unit code): the Job will be submitted to a batch queue with the same name as the job’s Management Unit. However, the queue must have been created and started.

On OpenVMS, jobs are launched on a DQM batch queue and are then submitted to the VMS Queue Manager when the job has the status “running” on the DQM (displayed as “executing” in OpenVMS). Therefore the user must select a DQM batch queue from the list that corresponds to an existing VMS batch queue (i.e. SYS$BATCH).

Submission Priority: Defines the priority of the submitted job in the batch queue. The priority can have any value between 1 and 255 [default = 100].

Some default values of the displayed information can be modified. Refer to section: Task Default Settings.
