UVMS - Optional Services

Optional services are detailed in Univiewer Administration Guide, section Optional Services.

Enable Alert Management AUT_ALM_STARTUP	S	Starts the UVMS Alert Manager to retrieve alerts from UniJob Nodes. No by default. Refer to section "Alerting Rules" in the Univiewer Administration Guide (Yes by default with UVMS 2.x).
Enable Consolidation of Job Summary UNI_VIEWER_MONITORING _COMPUTE_CONSOLIDATION	S	Use of the Job Run Summary: Refer to section “Consolidation for Job Run Summary” in the Univiewer Administration Guide. No: the feature cannot be used
Enable the Monitoring of the Dollar Universe Nodes 5.x NODE_STATUS_IO_REQUEST	D	If Yes, the DU v5 Nodes status will be retrieved if the user opens the Nodes list (No by default).
Enable purge of Alerts and associated Event objects ENABLE_ALERT_OBJECTS_PURGE	D	Indicates if the database automatic purge is enabled or not. The default value is Yes. The other value is No.
Enable Online Backup for Derby ENABLE_DERBY_ONLINE_BACKUP	S	Indicates if the database online backup is enabled or not. The default value is No. The other value is Yes. Refer to the Univiewer Administration Guide for details on Derby backup.
Enable Audit trail Purge ENBLE_AUDIT_TRAIL_PURGE	D	Indicates that the Audit trail will be purged in accordance with the settings defined in the "UVMS - Purge". Yes, by default.
Enable DUAS 6 synchronization objects purge mechanism ENABLE_OWLS_SYNC_OBJ_PURGE	D	The synchronized Dollar Universe objects (users, roles) which are managed in UVMS are not deleted immediately in order to keep the synchronization system consistent. They are marked “to be deleted”. Allowing this purge to proceed will delete them permanently.
Enable SSL SSL_MODE	I	Enables encryption of data in motion between UVMS and other components of the architecture. Settings are explained in the "UVMS - SSL" category.
