FTP Jobs: Job Settings

On the Job Settings definition page, you specify the parameters that govern the connection and reconnection behavior of FTP Jobs. You have the following options:

  • Transfer threads

    Limits parallel processing when wildcards are used.

    Default value: 2

  • Reconnection attempts

    The number of times to try to reconnect on failure when the Agent kills the socket in one of the following contexts:

    • The Job monitoring kills the connection.

    • The Agent issues a command that gets no reply and exceeds the time specified for the Stalled transfer detection time span (in seconds) below.

      Default value: 2

  • Wait ss till reconnect

    Determines when the RA FTP Agent should kill the socket when no data is transferred.

    Default value: 60

  • Resume transfer on reconnect

    Determines the behavior if the transfer is interrupted:

    • When this option is selected (default), the transfer is rechecked upon reconnection.

    • When this option is not selected, the transfer is re-transferred upon reconnection.
