Editing a User

Use the steps here to open an existing user definition to edit it. You can change all parts of a user definition except the user name. To rename a user, use the steps in Renaming a User.

Steps...

1. Start at the Users overview page.
2. Click the row for the user that you want to edit.
3. Do one of the following to open the user definition:
   • In the toolbar click the Edit button.
   • Right click the user definition and from the context menu that appears, select Edit.

   The Authorizations page of the section of the user definition appears.

   

4. Edit the user information.
   • Add new specifications or change values by entering or selecting new values as described in the related sections.
   • Clear fields to delete values.
   • To delete a full row on a page, such as on the Automation Engine Authorizations page, select the row and click the delete button at the top of the table .

5. Continue in the same way to makes all changes that you want.

6. Click the Save button above the sidebar.
