Monitoring the Client History
The Client History page is available both in Client 0 and in the production Clients. As an administrator, you use this page for the following:
-
(Client 0 and production Clients) Monitoring data archiving operations and downloading the resulting files
You trigger the data archiving process from the list of Clients, either in Client 0 or in a production Client. As soon as an archiving run starts, an entry is written to the Client History list displaying its runID, its status and additional information such as name, type (CLNTARCH), and so forth. Once the archiving process has finished, you can download the resulting files.
To Download Archive Files
-
Right-click the entry to select Download Archive.
-
A .ZIP file with the archive files is downloaded to your local Downloads folder. For more information, see Understanding the Archive Files.
-
-
(Client 0 only) Monitoring Client deleting operations
You delete Clients also from the list of Clients. As soon as the deleting operation starts, an entry is written to the Client History list displaying its status and additional information such as name, type (CLNTDEL), and so forth.
Right-click a CLNTDEL operation and select Open the Report to see a summary of the deleting process (when it was initiated, the number of objects deleted with the Client, and so forth). For more information, see Working with the Reports View.
For more information, see:
Tip: Right-click an entry in the list and select Add Comment to enter information about your action, for example, why a Client has been deleted. For more information, see Adding Comments.
