Job Chains Monitor

This document displays the Job Chain in Monitoring mode.

The last known status of each Uproc is displayed (color code) at the bottom of the Uproc, the return code is also displayed. If the Task is reduced, the status displayed is the consolidated status of the Task. As the status of the Uproc, the consolidation status is event driven.

Actions on launches and executions are available from the toolbar or from the context menu; they are described in the section “Job Runs”. Actions taken within a Job Chain can create exceptions; refer to section "Exceptions".

You can either select an object from the panel or from the Job Monitoring list to call an operation.

If you select a Task and click Run, it directly opens the "Job Run Details" document filled in with the Task characteristics.

Monitoring Actions

The actions are described in the section "Job Runs - Actions".

Navigation

Select the Task to be supervised by clicking on the Task header. The selected Task is highlighted.

Choose one of the supervision modes below:

The executions are taken from the Job monitoring list at the lower half of the screen.

When the Last instance mode is selected all the buttons are disabled.

When no Task is selected the Execution instance actions are disabled. The actions “Next Processing Date” and “Previous Processing Date” are always done on all the Tasks.

When one or several Tasks are selected, the Execution instance actions are enabled and the actions "Next execution instance" and "Previous execution instance" are carried out on the selected Tasks (if multiple instances exist for the same processing date).

Job Monitoring

At the bottom of the document, the Job Monitoring tab displays Job Runs in the same way as in the Job Runs document.

Session Monitoring

At the bottom of the document, the "Sessions Supervision" tab presents the Job Chain consolidated Sessions. The consolidated Sessions status is obtained the same way as the document Job Runs grouped by Session; refer to the section: "Job Runs – Group by".

Connected Nodes

In the Univiewer Console Information Box:

The Nodes tab displays the Nodes declared in the Monitored Nodes and their status.

The Status tab shows an overview of the job chain with run time or Sessions status (depending on the view displayed in the job chain monitor).

The Audit tab contains Audit trail information on the current object.
