User Management

As an AAI administrator, you manage user authentication and user access to functional areas and to jobstreams in AAI. To do this, you define and work with the following objects, which you define in AAI User Management:

  • Domains
  • Users
  • Active sessions

A domain controls the user login, the authentication method and the type of user access privileges that are available. As an AAI administrator, you configure the domains that support your company's security and data-access policies. Then, the users are already assigned to the respective domains or you assign them manually.

Note:

AAI's native domain, JAWS, is created during installation and you do not need to configure it. This means that you can start creating users right away with this domain.

The active sessions indicate which users are currently logged into AAI and the number of active sessions per user.
