In cases where all proposed options cannot fit into the allotted space (document sizing), a downwards arrow will display options that could not fit on the toolbar.
Each document has a toolbar displaying available options. Regular actions are described in the section Regular Actions.
In addition:
The icon at the left of the toolbar displays a Node selection window (refer to section: "Context Popup Chooser").
This icon in the document’s header line displays (or hides) filter fields (refer to section "Filters").
A double arrow on the filter line displays the filters actions.
In an object document, the display mode is found in the top right-hand corner. Click this button to unlock a record (to be able to modify it).
The context popup chooser can be called from within a document by clicking on the button on the left of the document toolbar.
To reduce the number of Nodes in the list, it is possible to enter a string of characters that is tested in the node name, the company name (for Dollar Universe) or the host name.
Check the box to select the Node(s) or the Node View. Some features allow multiple Node selection (for example monitoring executions), others don’t.
Use the Shift key to select several lines!
Tabs in the Node selection window may be:
Management Server: In Administration mode, several features are located on the Management Server only.
Dollar Universe: This tab lists the known Dollar Universe Application Servers that have been declared. Check the work Area, only the nodes in this activated Area are displayed. If the user selects a line by checking this box, the displayed list is restricted to nodes in the corresponding Company. Check one or several nodes depending on the loaded document then click OK.
Node Views: A grouping of Nodes of the same Type (UniJob or Dollar Universe). This simplifies the task of selecting multiple Nodes. In the Job Runs feature, this tab allows the user to select a Node View (refer to paragraph Node Views) for production monitoring distributed on different servers.
Reporter: A Reporter Node has been declared in the UVMS. The user can choose to operate on it.
Publisher: A Publisher Node has been declared in the UVMS. The user can choose to operate on it.
UniJob: This tab lists known occurrences of UniJob Nodes. Check each Node that you wish to include in your scope then click OK.
Each Node or View (Dollar Universe Nodes excepted) is shown with its connection status. Available statuses are described in the section "Nodes List".
Click the button on the left of the column headers bar to display the filters for each column. By default, all values are set to "*".
Enter a new value or click the arrow (on the right) to select one from the list.
Click to display the drop-down menu.
Click Save filter to save the selection in the current filter to reuse it later.
Click Manage filters to modify or rename a filter. This window opened displays all saved filters. Select a filter and click:
Click Clear filter history to delete the history.
Click Restore default filters to use the default value (usually *).
Previously used filters are displayed at the top of the list.
If the filter bar is hidden and only one filter is used in one of the columns, the icon indicates a filter on this column.
Date Filters
When entering a date filter, the user can choose:
*: To search on all dates.
Reference – x days: To research with x number of days. The Administration > User Settings > User number of days can be set in Preferences > General Settings> Production > Default filter
