Administering Automic Automation for AIOps
This section of the product documentation is relevant for administrators. It outlines the security concept underlying Automic Automation for AIOps and describes the access rights and privileges given to the different roles. It also describes how to install and deploy agents using the Automic Web Interface or the AE REST API.
You are assigned to the Administrator User Group. This gives you all necessary privileges to perform administrative tasks and grants you access to all three Automic Automation perspectives but you work mainly in the Administration perspective. For more information, see Administration Perspective.
As an administrator, you are in charge of user management. However, since the users you create in DX Operational Intelligence are automatically matched to the User Groups in Automic Automation, you do not need to perform any user management tasks in Automic Automation.
Accessing Automic Automation for AIOps
As an administrator, you can log in from the alarm list as an Operator or a Designer would do and then change the perspective by clicking Administration in the menu bar. However, you can also get to the Administration perspective without going through the alarm list.
You have two options:
- Open the Automic Automation for AIOps capability from the DX Operational Intelligence launch pad
- Click the App Launcher in the DX Operational Intelligence menu bar and select Automic Automation
Both options open the Process Assembly perspective from where you simply click Administration in the menu bar to access the Administration perspective.
For more information, see Login.
